2026’s Top Organizational Challenges (and your gig's opportunities)

Facilitator Sticky Diaries

Hi Reader🙋🏼‍♀️

How have you been?

I have to admit, I started this year a little more gently.
And I hope you've had space to do the same.

  • One month off from the newsletter.
  • Two months off from the podcast (that never happened before 😅).

But just because it's been quiet on the surface doesn't mean nothing's been moving behind the scenes.

My Mondays are now dedicated to the Facilipreneur Mastermind, and we just wrapped up the first 3 sessions, all focused on better position.

My dear mentees have been working on:

  • Identifying their expertise
  • Defining the clients they truly want to support
  • Clarifying the kinds of challenges they're ready to help solve

In short: we've been shaping the Who, What, and "Why me?" - the foundation that helps each of them become a strategic partner their clients can trust.

As part of this work, we've also been paying close attention to what's happening in the organizations our clients serve.

Because when you understand what keeps them up at night, you can position yourself not just as a facilitator - but as a strategic partner.

💬 The Top 5 Challenges Organizations
face in 2026

(…and the opportunities they create for facilitators like you)

1️⃣ Turning AI into measurable value (beyond pilots)

💡Opportunity:
Facilitators can guide teams through sensemaking, experimentation, and aligning AI use cases to real needs - beyond the hype.

2️⃣ Operating under cost, margin & shareholder pressure

💡Opportunity:
There's growing demand for lean, high-impact formats (like workshops) that accelerate decisions and bring clarity - fast.

3️⃣ Skills gaps and talent competition

💡Opportunity:
You can design upskilling programs, onboarding experiences, and peer-learning spaces that help organizations grow internal talent.

4️⃣ Bureaucracy & silos slowing decisions

💡Opportunity:
Facilitation helps break down silos through cross-functional workshops, co-creation sessions, and strategic alignment rituals.

5️⃣ Cybersecurity & reputational risk at scale

💡Opportunity:
This is an opportunity to create safe, structured environments for addressing sensitive issues, building shared responsibility, and fostering a culture of trust.

What kind of challenges are you addressing as a consultant, facilitators or trainers?

🧩 Want to Clarify Your Own Strategic Value?

To help my mentees position themselves clearly, I shared a simple but powerful reflection tool.

Feel free to try it yourself

From this clarity, they can:

✅ Map the services they offer to help their clients

✅ Create content based on real pain points and the transformation they support

✅ Choose one key challenge for one audience - and turn it into a signature workshop

This kind of foundational work can really change the way you show up and sell your services.

And if you’d like support. I offer mentoring sessions that can help you move forward, especially with positioning and business development.
Let's catch-up on a call and check how we can work together on it

🎙️ This Week on There’s a Workshop for That

I had a great conversation with Alex Judges, a Learning Experience Designer who created "The Co-Design Workshop" - a repeatable format he now uses to co-create training, retreats, and programs with his clients.

One Signature workshop for all the services he provided, integrated in his process.
This is just genius💡

During the episode, we talked about:

We both reveal our magic recipe to engage people in Webinar, Training, Workshops, actually any kind of session

Ask a Question → Tell or Teach → Apply or Debrief

A format that avoids passive listening and brings people into the session from the very first minute.

Alex immediately picked up on that rhythm and shared:

"As soon as someone hears a good question, they realize: Oh, this is for me. I'm part of this."

✨ What you'll learn:

  • How Alex simplified a 2-day format into a focused 2-hour workshop
  • Why he always starts with co-design - and what that unlocks
  • How using the same Miro board every time became a strength
  • Why having a repeatable format can be your best business asset

My intention word for 2026

LA WORKSHOPPEUSE Facilitator Sticky Diaries Hi Reader🙋🏼♀️ Yesterday, I hosted my first live session of the year. What a joy to spend 90 minutes with facilitators joining from the US to Singapore - people at very different stages of their journey, yet asking surprisingly similar questions about their practice. To open the session, I shared a small ritual of mine. Every year, I choose one word to set the tone for the year ahead. I write it on a card and keep it on my desk. My word for 2026...

My first linkedin post.

LA WORKSHOPPEUSE Facilitator Sticky Diaries Hi Reader🙋🏼♀️ This story is about where my journey as a facilitator really began, and why collective spaces matter so much to me today. This is the first photo I ever posted on LinkedIn, back in 2022. At that time, I had just quit my job as an internal consultant in organizational development. I didn't really know what I was going to do next - other than one clear decision: to travel. The first destination of that journey was a small village in...
