LA WORKSHOPPEUSE

Facilitator Sticky Diaries

Hi Reader๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

โ€‹

Yesterday, I hosted my first live session of the year.

โ€‹

What a joy to spend 90 minutes with facilitators joining from the US to Singapore - people at very different stages of their journey, yet asking surprisingly similar questions about their practice.

โ€‹

To open the session, I shared a small ritual of mine.

โ€‹

Every year, I choose one word to set the tone for the year ahead. I write it on a card and keep it on my desk.

โ€‹

My word for 2026

Simplify my offers.

Simplify my message.

Simplify how I run my business, without reducing the impact.

โ€‹

Then I invited participants to choose their own word.

โ€‹

One word showed up bigger than the others on the digital board:

โ€‹

Focus.

What is yours?

๐ŸŸก My focus for Q1 2026

On Monday, a new cohort of the Facilipreneur Mastermind begins.

โ€‹

For the next three months, I'll be working closely with a small group of talented and thoughtful facilitators from the Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, and Singapore.

โ€‹

Some have been freelancing for a few years.

Others are just taking the leap.

โ€‹

What they all have in common is this:

they've decided to intentionally dedicate time to working on their business.

โ€‹

  • Time to clarify what they want to be known for.
  • Time to package their expertise into offers they can repeat.
  • Time to build a practice that allows them to work with clients they truly enjoy.

โ€‹

They'll become strong accountability partners for each other

and possibly for you too,

if this feels like the right moment to focus on your practice and sharpen your positioning.

One more thing I want to share with you

Yesterday's session also focused on five common mistakes many facilitators make.

โ€‹

They're mistakes I've made myself.
Mistakes I still see experienced facilitators make.
Mistakes that quietly slow things down.
โ€‹
Because I'd really love you to avoid them in 2026, I've decided to share the recording with my whole community.

LA WORKSHOPPEUSE Facilitator Sticky Diaries Hi Reader๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿผโ™€๏ธ This story is about where my journey as a facilitator really began, and why collective spaces matter so much to me today. This is the first photo I ever posted on LinkedIn, back in 2022. At that time, I had just quit my job as an internal consultant in organizational development. I didn't really know what I was going to do next - other than one clear decision: to travel. The first destination of that journey was a small village in...
