LA WORKSHOPPEUSE

Facilitator Sticky Diaries

Hi Reader🙋🏼‍♀️

First things first — a warm welcome to everyone who recently joined this newsletter!

Since we’ve had a wave of new subscribers lately, I wanted to (re)introduce myself and share what you can expect here.

I’m Nathy, aka La Workshoppeuse — a workshop designer, facilitator, trainer, and podcaster (I host There’s a Workshop for That 🎙️).

I’m French, spent over 20 years living in Germany, and now split my time between Europe and the beautiful island of Bali 🏝️

Oh, and I love music 🎶 Not just as a listener, but also as a musician and producer. It's one of the creative threads that weaves through everything I do.

I coined the term Facilipreneur to describe facilitator–solopreneurs building a business with purpose-driven, branded offers like signature workshops.
You’ll see this term pop up now and then, especially when I talk about the business side of facilitation or open doors to The Facilipreneur Mastermind.

In this newsletter, I share:

✨ Tools and methods for better facilitation
🚀 Insights from the facilipreneur path — like positioning, finding clients, and designing offers
🌍 And little glimpses of my nomadic life between Europe and Asia

If you're new here (or even if you've been around a while), I’d love to get a better sense of who’s reading this newsletter.

💬 Fit For Facilitation - The growing community

Last week, we wrapped up the second edition of Fit For Facilitation, a free series of sessions to connect, learn, and grow together as facilitators.
It was full of good vibes, great topics, and beautiful new connections.

The biggest highlight? We launched the FFF Community👥

In just a few days, over 200 members joined us on Circle — and you can still jump in too!

We’re preparing for the official launch on October 31st, but here’s what’s already inside:

🎥 Recordings from every Fit For Facilitation session
📘 Resources like my Go Find Clients workbook
🧭 Monthly challenges
🎤 Events with my buddies Mehdi En-Naizi, Alex & Said Saddouk
🤝 Co-working sessions — the first one is happening November 4th
💸 Early access & up to 20% off some of our programs (like the Facilipreneur Mastermind)

These next 3 months are for you: to test, explore, and help shape the community.

In February 2026, it will become a private paid space — but only if it truly brings value. If you know us, than you know that we care, we share, and we’d never trap you in something that doesn’t serve you.

Come to explore, feel supported, inspired, and connected.

🏄‍♀️Surfing the wave as a freelance facilitator

Falling in love with facilitation — designing experiences, helping groups think together, and witnessing transformation — is what draws many of us to this work.

But building a business around that craft?
That’s a whole different wave to ride.

Coming from a corporate background, I had to learn (and unlearn) so much. Like many of you, I’ve faced moments of doubt, anxiety, and feeling not ready or not good enough.

So at some point, I sat down and workshopped my own journey:

  • What mindset do I need to adopt now?
  • Why am I in this ocean — what’s my deeper vision?
  • What’s holding me back from riding the waves with confidence?
  • What support or action would help me move forward?

💭 These reflections became a free workshop I now run regularly:
Surfing the Wave as a Freelance Facilitator

It’s a 75 min session to:

  • Share your visions and challenges
  • Hear how others are navigating similar waves
  • Reflect on your next step
  • Ask for the support you need

✨ The next session is happening October 29th — and I’d love for you to join.

LA WORKSHOPPEUSE Facilitator Sticky Diaries Hi Reader🙋🏼♀️ I’ll be honest — I’m in pre-Fit For Facilitation chaos mode right now. Sticky notes everywhere, Butter Scenes open, caffeine levels questionable… ....you know what I mean😅 With just one week to go, I’m putting the final touches on my session when this thought suddenly popped up: “Finding clients is basically like dating.” You put yourself out there, hoping to make a good impression.Sometimes you click instantly — sparks fly.Sometimes...

LA WORKSHOPPEUSE Facilitator Sticky Diaries Hi Reader🙋🏼♀️ I don’t know if you know this, but I’ve spent over 20 years working inside companies and organizations—leading interdisciplinary and multicultural teams. And you know what used to drive me absolutely crazy? 👉 The silos.👉 The unspoken assumptions.👉 The emotional reactions in meetings (yes, people shouting at each other).👉 The misunderstandings that kept conversations polite—but unproductive. There is always a gap between what we think,...

Stories, Tips and behind-the-scenes of a freelance globetrotting facilitator Hey (Name), I’m finally back on my favorite island, Bali, after 3 weeks of a beautiful stretch of workshops in Mumbai and Singapore— and my heart is full. 💛 Over the past couple of months, I’ve been partnering with the Evivve team, running their powerful multiplayer simulation designed to surface authentic leadership behaviors in real time. It’s rooted in neuroscience, built for transformation — and wow, did it...
