Exciting News: My Podcast Hits the Top 3! šŸŽ‰

Stories, Tips and behind-the-scenes of a freelance globetrotting facilitator

Hi Reader, It's Nathy

Is it really already the end of January?! How have you been? I hope 2025 is treating you well so far!

I’m so happy to be restarting this newsletter with a fresh twist. You might have noticed the name change—I still plan to share my best facilitation tips, but I also want to take you behind the scenes of my globetrotting freelance and podcasting life. The highs, the lows, the learnings, and of course… my tips on workshop design and facilitation!

šŸ‘But today I got some exciting news that completely caught me off guard!

My podcast made the top 3 in the state of facilitation report 2025

I’m still in shock! "There is a Workshop for That" was voted among the top 3 facilitation podcasts by over 1,050 facilitators in the latest SessionLab report.

Whaaaaaaat?! 🤯

I’m beyond honored to be listed alongside legends like

The best part? I found out live during a podcast recording with Deborah Rim Moiso from SessionLab! (Cue my real-time disbelief and awkward laughter. šŸ˜‚ You can see it all in the episode coming out on Feb 20!)

šŸŽ§ Haven’t subscribed the podcast yet? If you love facilitation, workshops, and real talk about the freelance facilitator life, hit that button so you don’t miss the next episodes!

Let's celebrate together 🄳

To mark this milestone, I’m planning a special online event for podcast listeners. But I’d love your input:

Behind the scene - Big moves in 2024!

One of my biggest challenges (and wins) last year? Bringing the podcast to YouTube!

I had to:
šŸŽ¬ Learn video editing (yes, I do it all myself!)
šŸŽ¤ Upgrade my setup for better quality - Thanks to Said, the facilitaineršŸ™šŸ»
šŸ˜… Battle stage fright in front of the camera

But it was worth it! Reaching more facilitators and sharing content visually has been a game-changer.

✨ Goal for 2025: Hit 100 YouTube subscribers! If you haven’t yet, subscribe below to help me get there.

Thinking of starting your own podcast?
Here’s what I’ve gained from this journey:
  1. Amplify your voice: It’s a great way to share your expertise and build credibility in the space you’re in.
  2. Connect globally: Honestly for me it's a privilege to hear stories and getting tips from expert facilitators all over the world—sooo inspiring and I honestly learned so much!
  3. Refine your craft: Preparing episodes forces me to reflect deeply on facilitation topics, which has also improved my work immensely.
  4. Attract client : Even if I honestly don’t use the podcast as a selling strategy, listeners reach out to me for mentoring or even recommended me to clients.

Pro Tip: If you’re thinking about starting, don’t wait for perfect. My first episode wasn’t exactly a masterpiece—but progress happens through doing and honestly it worth it!

Stories, Tips and behind-the-scenes of a freelance globetrotting facilitator Hi Reader, It's Nathy 12,000 km. That’s the distance between Lovina, my home in beautiful Bali, and Seltz, a small village in eastern France (Alsace), where I am now. 24 hours of travel, one week to recover (I’m getting old!), and a whole lot of preparation before and after.
